Warehouse Supervisor Wanted – Apply:

Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the Administration and efficient control/running of the daily operations within the warehouse

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the warehouse daily: Ensure that GRC’s are sent through for Credits. Ensure RA’s are requested by the company and sent through for pick up. Ensure all RA documentation has been sent to the Claims department and is actioned within 48hrs POD’s from the previous day to be processed every morning POD’s to be confirmed in the AS400 within 48 hours of delivery Handle queries relating to POD’s from Head Office.

Issuing of stock when presented with a valid invoice- sign invoice to confirm issuing correct stock. Dispatching-Packing and sending deliveries by couriers Ensuring all trip sheets and invoices are issued in accordance with Company process Ensure GIT report is kept “clean” by checking it daily to see that nothing is listing for SP Stockroom responsibility
Receiving, counting and GRV’ing stock Advising the Warehouse manager of any discrepancies on received stock or any discrepancy during stock movement
Faulty stock room to be managed.

Ensure picking bay for collection is maintained with the relevant documents attached to each order. Faulty stock must be returned with RA number within 7 days of receipt
Daily high risk counts, as per scheduled by Operations Manager. Ensure that the high-risk stock room is closed at all times and the correct process is followed. Ensure that any outstanding queries are reported to the relevant manager. Issuing of stock when presented with valid invoice.

Ensure GIT report is cleared within 7 days of receipt of stock. Ensure the correct process of receiving stock has been followed. Stock VS Invoice. Any discrepancies to be reported to Line Manager. Ensure the warehouse is maintained at all times-according to Company Standards. Ensure OHASA is implemented as per the Act. Daily management of all warehouse staff

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Matric/Equivalent, Minimum of 4 years working experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
Basic Computer literacy,

Must be able to work well as a Team Player
Must have strong Supervisory skills- Manage staff
Accuracy/attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
Salary: Experience-Dependent- R9000.00 – R10 500.00 basic per month – plus added benefits
Monday – Friday – 08h00 – 16h30
Every alternate Saturday – 08h00 – 12h00
