Watch: Connie Ferguson’s Daughter teaches her how to dance to Amapiano

Amapiano is the hottest music genre in the country right now, they have taken Mzansi by storm with their slick beats and cool dance moves, even international star Ludacris is a fan. The duo called The Scorpion Kings, which comprises of DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small, have no match when it comes to producing the Yano’s, as it is affectionately known.

During lockdown alone, they have released multiple albums and tracks between them, which have occupied the number one spot on multiple streaming platforms.

Madumane, who has been instrumental in the genre and who also credits himself for showing Kabza De Small the rules of the music production game. Recently, he Tweeted a video of Connie Ferguson being taught how to dance to one of the songs on “Money Heist” called “Bella Ciao” by her daughter.

The 13 track joint EP by Tyler ICU and Nicole Elocin was released on Friday, 4 September 2020, and contained an already long list of favourites, like “Bella Ciao,” featuring Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa, “My Dali,” featuring Shasha, Myztro, Mas Musiq and Thabzin SA, and “Sofa si Lahlane.” The album beat Nasty C’s “Zulu Man With Some Power,” and the international release of Big Sean’s “Dreams,” to take the top spot in the country.

The song is a hit and we can see why fans love the whole album.

Connie Ferguson is no stranger to Amapiano and breaking it down on the dance floor, as a true fitness fanatic and she has been sharing her workouts on Social Media and the 50-year-old sure knows how to break a sweat in the gym. On the 1st of June, Connie shared a video of herself, Shona Ferguson and their daughter Alicia having a little fun in the gym after a workout.

“Entering my birth month like “siyabangena!” Golden Jubilee I see you!”

It is clear that the Fergusons love the Amapiano genre when working out or just having fun, their teenage daughter Alicia seems to be the one who keeps the family up to date with the latest dance moves and music. The Yanos are clearly for everyone, regardless of age, it seems clear that they will be the genre for Festive groove this year instead of Gqom.
