ANCYL blames coalition talks collapse on EFF

The ANCYL National Youth Task Team is accusing EFF leader Julius Malema of spreading lies about coalition talks with the governing party.

During a media briefing on Tuesday, Malema said his party will no longer pursue coalition talks with the ANC because it was negotiating in bad faith.

But the ANCYL says talks collapsed because the EFF was putting forward ridiculous demands.

It says Malema was demanding to run the City of Tshwane despite winning only 23 seats.

The IFP, DA, and Action SA are some of the parties that have openly said they won’t form a coalition with the ANC.
