Duties & Responsibilities

Be able to function as a civil lead engineer for multidisciplinary projects.
Review client proposals in terms of civil engineering and design.
Translate civil design intention across disciplines during the design phase and managing interfaces.
Evaluate proposals for bid clarifications.
Work closely with other Discipline Managers /Project Managers/Engineering Managers and aspire to support and achieve the goals of the company.
Design of steel structures.
Design of concrete.
Review client proposals in terms of civil design.
Evaluate vendor proposals in terms of civil design.
Perform a Project Management role on some smaller projects.
Preparation of Quotations.

Minimum Requirements:
ECSA Pr. Eng. registration and Civil Engineering University Degree
+3 years of relevant working experience in infrastructure projects with a proven track record in concrete and steel design.
Knowledge of applicable design codes, standards, and regulations
Understanding of other Civil Engineering Disciplines e.g Geotech, Hydrology
Valid Drivers License and means of transport
RSA Citizenship
