On Monday that devastating underground fire in Joburg’s CBD knocked out power to large parts of the city.
Some areas in Johannesburg are still without electricity. Business owners and residents are battling.
City Power has apologised to affected customers for the inconvenience caused. Investigations into the cause and cost of the fire are ongoing.

The delay in mop up and the two days it took @CityofJoburgEMS to put out the fires, meant that City Power technicians could not start their work underground as planned.
