In the wake of the recent gender-based violence incidents in the country, singer and new mum Busisiwe “Cici” Thwala prays for protection over her son.
She said she prays God protects him because he is her lifeline.
Cici said her biggest fear as a mother is not being able to protect her child.
“With everything that’s happening around the world, especially in our country, you’re my lifeline. You are probably the reason why I stayed positive regardless of it all.
“As a mom, I fear so much that I will not always be there to protect you because mankind has become animals” I pray God protects you as He has me. May He give me the wisdom to raise you to be a better man,” she posted on her Instagram.
In 2018 Cici accused her former boss and boyfriend Arthur Mafokate of assaulting her. They went to court and Arthur was found not guilty by the Midrand Magistrates Court.
