Chris Pratt says Jurassic World Dominion ends franchise after 30 years

Jurassic World Dominion star Chris Pratt has teased the finality of the upcoming sequel, calling it the “end” of the Jurassic franchise. Speaking on the Today Show, Pratt discussed how Jurassic World Dominion will act as a culmination of the decade-spanning series, giving everything to bring the beloved franchise to a crowd-pleasing conclusion and ushering in the end of Jurassic World.

According to Pratt, Jurassic World Dominion will bring the fireworks, lighting up the screen all the way through and letting audiences know that this is the big finale. Alongside Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady, Jurassic World Dominion will also bring back the original Jurassic Park trilogy, with the actor explaining how this legacy team-up marks the end of the story.

Jurassic World Dominion picks up four years after the Lockwood estate incident at the end of the previous sequel Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Dinosaurs now live, and hunt, alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine once and for all whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.

Directed by Colin Trevorrow, who wrote the screenplay with Emily Carmichael, and based on a story by Trevorrow and his writing partner, Derek Connolly, Jurassic World Dominion stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill, BD Wong, Omar Sy, Isabella Sermon, Justice Smith, and Daniella Pineda, each of whom will reprise their roles from previous movies. They are joined by DeWanda Wise, Mamoudou Athie, Campbell Scott, Scott Haze, and Dichen Lachman.
