Gauteng: At 10H21 Thursday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a drowning at a residence in The Reeds Centurion.
Reports from the scene indicate that a two year old male was found unresponsive in a swimming pool.
The child was pulled out the water by family who called for emergency services.
Upon arrival the child was found unresponsive and not breathing adequately.
Emergency Care Practitioners from Netcare 911 and Emer-G-Med used advanced life support procedures to treat the child.
Once treated the patient was handed over to the Netcare 7 helicopter air ambulance crew who flew the patient to a specialist facility for further care.
