It seems crime is not getting any better in South Africa as each day more and more cases are reported! Just this past Friday, the management of the South African Police Service (Saps), led by Police Minister Bheki Cele presented the quarterly crime statistics to parliament’s portfolio committee on police, covering the period between 1 October 2022 to 31 December 2022.
Talking of crime, a video has surfaced on social media showing a recent cash-in-transit heist that took place in Krugersdorp in broad daylight. In a fifty-two-second video, a group of robbers is seen busy with their mission, blowing up the cash van.
It is not yet known how much the robbers took away with them.
