Requirements for position:
– Matric or equivalent
– Experience in operations in a car park
– Good numerical and analytical skills
– Strong communications skills (Ability to communicate fluently in Afrikaans and English)
– Ability to manage relationship with landlord, management & staff
– Ability to deal with staff discipline & conflict
– Customer-orientated and strong leadership qualities
– Teamwork orientated and a proactive individual
– Hands-on individual willing to accept accountability
– Computer literate (Excel, Word and Outlook)
– Shift work. Weekends and public holidays a requirement
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:
– Management of car park staff and ensuring that the staff are correctly deployed
– Managing staff relations, disciplinary issues and performance management
– Ensuring that equipment is fully functional and malfunctions are attended to timeously
– Ensure that the car park meets its optimum service levels at all time as per the service level agreement
– Maintaining stock levels of critical supplies
– Conduct meetings with staff/service providers
– Maintaining health and safety regulations in the workplace
– Responsible for all banking daily
– Any other duties as and when required
– Ability to work long hours and deal with a demanding landlord
