There is a message making rounds on social media saying that Caps United players are currently holding a demonstration at the Club’s headquarters over their monthly salaries. As we all know the Zimbabwe premier league like many leagues in the world is on hold because of the COVID-19 pandemic and things have been really hard especially for many Zimbabweans due to the Lockdown which has seen major business moves gone to bed.
Since the lockdown, many people were left stranded including the football players who rely on living by playing soccer. Many clubs are failing to pay players because they can’t also afford to pay them. They have no sponsors who are will to pay them when they are not playing.
