Capitals beat Knight Riders by 7 wickets

Delhi Capitals won the toss and decided to field first against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens, Kolkata today.

Opener Gill wasted no time in rushing to 65 for Kolkata, with Russell adding a needed 45 to bring them up to 178-7.

Shikhar Dhawan smashed 97* in answer, with skipper Rishabh Pant adding 46 to guide Delhi Capitals to a 7 wicket win.

Delhi Capitals chase down 179 with seven balls to spare.Both teams now have four wins and three losses.

Shikhar Dhawan was denied a maiden T20 century, but Delhi Capitals would gladly take the two points that took them to a fourth win of the season.
