Hawks arrest Cape gang leader

The Hawks have arrested the leader of the Terrible West Siders gang, Moegamat Toufiek Brown, also known as ‘Bubbles’.

It’s in connection with the attempted hit on Cape Town lawyer William Booth and other gang-related crimes.

The 35-year-old is now charged for the Booth matter along with other notorious gang bosses, Nafiz Modack and Zane Killian.

It’s alleged Brown acted as the middleman for the hit two years ago.

Brown was arrested and appeared in the Cape Town magistrate’s court on the same day.

The case has been postponed to Monday for legal representation.

Modack and Killian are also charged with the murder of Anti-Gang Unit detective Charl Kinnear.
