An international land administration solutions provider is seeking to employ an experienced Business Analyst (Software & GIS) to join their Cape Town-based team on a permanent basis. Working within a team of project managers, business analysts, software developers, IT professionals and other industry experts, the primary responsibility of this role is to interact directly with clients, operating largely in the mining and land space. The focus area of the role is to document business processes and user requirements, collate GIS and Business data, User Training and Product Configuration and Delivery, all key elements in the project lifecycle which ensures effective delivery of our solutions to our global client base.
Core technologies in positioning, modelling, connectivity and data analytics enable customers to improve productivity, quality, safety and sustainability. From purpose built products to enterprise lifecycle solutions, the client’s software, hardware and services are transforming a broad range of industries such as agriculture, construction, geospatial and transportation and logistics.
The successful candidate must be a confident individual, possess excellent communication skills, and have 3- 5 years’ experience in a similar role. A willingness to travel and work onsite with clients while being a valuable contributor to our dynamic implementation team will be highly regarded.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Degree in GIS, Environmental Sciences, Urban and Regional Planning, IT or related fields
EXPERIENCE
Min of 3 – 5 years’ experience as a GIS Professional, Land Manager, Business Analyst
Mining industry or land management experience
Business Process Documentation Experience
Client Facing Consulting Environment Experience
Understanding of GIS software and data (ArcGIS)
Understanding of the software development lifecycle
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)

Ability to work autonomously.
Excellent attention to detail
Be willing and eager to travel
LANGUAGE
Excellent command of English (written and verbal)
French and Portuguese languages would be advantageous.
SALARY
R25 to R40k, depending on experience and negotiable for the best candidate
