Bryshere Gray who played the role of Hakeem Lyon in the famous American series, Empire, will be jailed after pleading guilty ton domestic violence.
According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Gray pled guilty to felony aggravated assault and, as part of his plea agreement, he’s been sentenced to 10 days in county jail and 3 years probation.
The actor is expected to pay restitution and must enroll in a domestic violence offender treatment program.
Gray is to stay off consuming illegal drugs during his probation, and he will be tested for drugs and alcohol.
The 27-year-old was arrested in July last year, 2020, as woman said she was assaulted for ‘hours’. His wife said Gray strangled her, leading her to temporarily lose consciousness.
