#BBMzansi: Disqualified Big Brother Mzansi housemate, Bravo B issues heart-melting apology

Big Brother Mzansi’s Bravo B has finally spoken up.

This comes two days after he was kicked out of the house.

The 26-year-old, whose real name is Lindokuhle Nsele, was sent home on Friday, 26 January after a disturbing conversation with one of the housemates, Makhekhe.

During the conversation, the contestants plotted how they would have sex with the female housemates while drunk.

Since then, Bravo has been disqualified, while Makhekhe received two strikes as a warning.

On Sunday night, 28 January, he sent a video to the housemates apologising. He also revealed that he is working on forgiving himself.

“I just want to say I am sorry. I feel bad, and I’m ashamed. I’m still working on it and working on getting better. I just want you to forgive me. The person you met the first day, that’s me, that’s Bravo B. The person in the clip, I’m trying to figure out who that guy is, because that’s not me.

“I’ve neither been a perpetrator, nor do I plan to become one. That was supposed to be a joke that went wrong, now the joke is me. I think you guys should learn to practise what you preach. You must always know what you are saying. I am in the process of learning all that,” he said.

He specifically apologised to the two female housemates he had been talking about during the conversation.

“To Liema and Zee, it was not our intention to hurt you. It was meant to be funny and spicy, but that’s not how it went. Those two minutes of fame cost me my career. It’s cold out here. I miss you guys, I really do. I want you to forgive me. For you Makhekhe, I love you. I want you to forgive yourself and move on. I’m in the process of doing that too,” he said.

After the conversation took place, viewers of the show called for both Makhekhe and Bravo to be eliminated. The channel announced that it would investigate the incident and announced its findings and decision on Friday, 26 January.

“MultiChoice has investigated the matter regarding a conversation between two housemates in Big Brother Mzansi currently airing on DStv channel 198. We don’t condone actions that threaten the safety of housemates on the show, and we take gender-based violence seriously,” it said.
