Police have identified the man whose frozen and mutilated body was found in the Roodeplaat Dam in late December.
Zeyn Khan, a 43-year-old man, was reported missing in Florida on 28 November.
His body was identified through the use of DNA samples provided by the families who had reported missing persons.
Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
