Another Police Officer allegedly involved in the disposing of Bobo’s dead body has killed himself
Police have opened an inquest docket after body of a 49-year old man was found in a vehicle at Tea Estate near Verulam, north of Durban with a gunshot wound to the head. Savannanews has reliably learnt that the deceased was a senior official at the Tongaat police station.

This comes after another senior officer was secretly arrested for helping murder suspects to dispose Andile’s body.
The death of 16-year-old Andile Bobo Mchunu of Hambanathi, Tongaat shuttered hearts of many South Africans who by now are still calling for justice.
Andile who was beaten to death at Magagula hotel in Tongaat resulting in his disappearance was later found dead in Newton River in the same area.
Andile’s murder case opened a can of worms when seven suspects where arrested and six of them dragged to court over murder and kidnapping charges. One of the suspect was a minor leading to charges withdrawal against him.
Police brutality, incompetence and corruption was aired in the case.
Police Minister Bheki Cele visited the local police station where the case was reported and allegedly dragged till Andile Mchunu was found dumped in Newton River.
Bheki Cele revealed that he needs to be on the ground to get primary evidence and personally hear about the story.
Another police officer allegedly committed suicide over Bobo’s case. It is believed that he also helped dispose of the body.
