Black Twitter not impressed by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visit #RoyalVisitSouthAfrica

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex have evidently been having a blast in Mzansi since they jetted into the country on Monday. The Royals kicked off their 10-day tour of southern Africa by visiting the township of Nyanga on Monday. Both Harry and Meghan gave moving speeches to the crowd that had gathered to welcome them in the township which has been dubbed the “murder capital”.

“This is a community where men and women have a role to play. Touching on what your president said last week, no man is born to cause violence to women. This is a learned behaviour and a cycle that needs to be broken,” Harry said.Meghan thanked the crowd for showing them the spirit of Ubuntu.

They were welcomed with the joyful sound of a marimba band and video clips of Meghan dancing to the beat flooded social media. As the nation celebrated Heritage Day on Tuesday, the royals made their way to an NGO called Waves of Change in Monwabisi Beach. The organisation uses surfing combined with therapy to help young people from troubled backgrounds. There too Harry and Meghan could be seen dancing along with the young surfers.
