Billionaire Tesla founder Elon Musk teased his Twitter followers when he opened up about pondering the idea of creating a unique smartphone.
Elon Musk has his hands dipped in several jars at the moment including Tesla, Space X, Twitter, and AI. It seems that he has more of himself to give as he has recently let his Twitter followers in on his latest thoughts of expanding into the mobile phone market. He has been toying around with the idea of creating his own smartphone for some time. In 2022, he said that he would create an alternative cellphone in an instance that Twitter booted him from the App Store as well as the Google Play Store, Daily Mail reported.
Musk has also been vocal about being against mobile companies that tracked user’s information. And, in a previous Tweet, he warned that “Phones are not safe”.
Recently, Elon Musk had Twitter buzzing when he shared that he was thinking of creating a Tesla smartphone. He said the Tesla phone would be different from others in the market as it would not collect any of its user’s information.
“Tesla should create its own smartphone. Your information will never be collected. Would you use it?” he asked. We are helpless and unfortunately there’s nothing we could currently do. Which is why I believe a Tesla phone would be great!” Musk added.
