SAA is one of the top airlines when it comes to being on time. The International Airlines Transport Association has ranked the carrier fourth among its the Middle East and African counterparts.
SAA’s overall on-time performance across its route network is over 85 percent.
The airline serves 57 destinations within South Africa and across the continent.
The cash-strapped airline says it’s encouraged by its ranking.
It says punctuality is one of its most crucial customer-impact performance indicators.
SAA was placed under business rescue late last year.
