ANC Chairperson Gwede Mantashe has refused to answer questions about a recent video involving Minister of Home Affairs Malusi Gigaba.
He says he “can’t venture into Gigaba’s bedroom affairs”.
Mantashe was answering a question about Gigaba’s s-e-xtape that was leaked over the weekend.
Gigaba says the video is at the centre of a number of blackmail and extortion attempts.
He says the footage was stolen from his phone when it was hacked two years ago.
Vuyo Mkhize, Gigaba’s spokesman, has confirmed to eNCA a private investigation firm was employed to look into who hacked his phone shortly after the leak was discovered.
