Reality TV star Kim Kardashian and her musical genius husband Kanye West recently gave fans a glimpse into their R840-million mansion in Calabasas, California, during a Vogue photo shoot, and it comes as no surprise that the luxurious home left many scratching their heads – especially that basin-less sink.
But the 38-year-old soon-to-be mother-of-four took to her Instagram Stories to solve the mystery.
In classic MTV Base Cribs style, Kim shared a clip giving a tour of her exquisite bathroom, in which she also deciphered the confusion behind the basin, which according to her was designed by Kanye.
“Kanye came up with this design…eight versions of this prototype sink were made,” Kim explained.
“There’s a slit for the water,” she added as she moved to open the handle for the water to flow. “And it goes in. You can put it on as high pressure as you want and no backsplash will come up
That was not the end of Kiki’s tour, as the makeup mogul also let fans into her master bedroom where she revealed a supervise TV in the floor that rises at the flick of a switch. And instead of individual lights in their bathroom, the entire ceiling is illuminated with a panel.
