President Cyril Ramaphosa has arrived at the Mohlaletse Village in the Sekhukhune District Municipality for the funeral service of BaPedi King Victor Thulare – Kgoshikgolo Thulare. King Thulare passed away at the age of 40 on Jan. 6.
President Ramaphosa declared that the king will be honoured with a Special Official Funeral Category 1.
King Thulare is the son of the late King Rhyne Thulare and was officially recognised by the President as King of the BaPedi in 2020.

These arrangements are in place for those who may not be able to physically attend the funeral due to the current COVID-19 lockdown level 3 regulations which stipulate that gatherings for funerals may not exceed fifty (50) people.
