Gauteng: At 07H50 Wednesday morning, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the R512 Pelindaba Road in Lanseria.
Reports indicate that the driver of a bakkie lost control, resulting in a roll-over.
When medics arrived on the scene, it was found that two occupants were ejected and three occupants severely entrapped, all having sustained serious injuries.
Sadly, one person, an adult male, was found to have sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on the scene.
Netcare 911 rescue technicians along with another private rescue team used hydraulic tools to free the trapped patients.
Once treated and stabilized, all the patients were transported by various ambulance services to the hospital for further care.
