Babes Wodumo celebrating her 25th birthday: Video. She might have gone through a lot recently but the Wololo hitmaker did not let that affect her in celebrating her 25th birthday. Yes, she is just 25 years old and what she has achieved at that age is just amazing.

Babes Wodumo is one of the best female vocalists we have in Mzansi and to add that on top she is a good dancer as well, hence she is a multi-nominated artist bagging international nominations too, the likes of the AFRIMMA awards, the BET awards you name it. She has been successful in her career. Her music even featured on the first Black Super Hero to be done in the movie Black Panther which won many awards.

She had been in newspapers and tabloids for quite some time a few ago after that video she posted online of her then-boyfriend Mampinstha bashing her.

Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha have been in the news for the past five days, not because of their latest song, but because of their tumultuous relationship and the alleged abuse which was filmed and beamed on Instagram on Sunday night.

Bongekile ‘Babes Wodumo’ Simelane, y then she was still 24, and her partner, Mandla ‘Mampintsha’ Maphumulo, 41, have been the talk of the town for the week ever since he allegedly beat her in their bedroom at their Westville home. They have filed assault cases against each other and their public spat is increasingly got heated as the week progressed.

We rewind and relook at this saga which has gripped the country for the week, filled with assault allegations, alcohol abuse claims, politicians in the DMs, lies and hacking iClouds.

But yesterday she forgot all about that and had to enjoy her 25th birthday and she did it in awesome style. She had family and friends help her celebrate another year of life added to her.
