Introduction:

The Senior Audit Manager will assist audit teams with performing large scale audit engagements. The audit engagements focus on but are not limited to: Non-financial Information, Audit of Predetermined Objectives, and Sustainability Reports. This position requires a responsible individual capable of managing large complex engagements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities:

Review and finalize audit programs and other working papers for review and approval by superiors

Review and approve (and also prepares for review by others) drafts of audit reports, special audit reports, management letters, and other communications

As directed, prepares necessary engagement letters and other records

Manages multiple projects within the agreed timelines.

Responsible for managing the divisions resources (including in-sourced staff) through meetings and giving direction and supervision to achieve a timely high-quality product and adhere to agreed timelines

Provides the necessary leadership and administrative direction to motivate, train, and develop capabilities of team

Is alert to the Firms practice management requirements and participates in client billings.

With the guidance of superiors, assesses service needs of clients and assures that these needs are fulfilled.

Keeps in mind at all times the importance of good client relationship and sees to it that the team are equally careful of this aspect.

Assist in bringing in new clients to the Firm

Perform and/or manage other projects, tasks, and assignments not stipulated on the Job description as and when required.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

CA(SA)

A minimum of 5 years post article experience (3 of which must be at manager level)

Experience in leading high quality of audits

Responsible for client communications

Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing time and teams effectively
