Arthur Mafokate vs Cici – the battle is still on

Arthur Mafokate’s long-running court case against his ex-girlfriend Busisiwe “Cici” Twala took its latest twists and turns this week when the former 999 label head faced the latest charges in court. You may recall that back in March the trial was postponed after court recording machines broke but this week he was summoned back to the Midrand Magistrate’s Court.
According to reports, Arthur was in “High spirits” as he watched lawyers cross-examining Dr Ramokgopa, who treated Cici’s injuries after the alleged assault.
The doctor confirmed the injuries that Cici sustained on her pelvic region when he said, “She was swollen in the same area, her limb was affected but the rest of her body parts were fine,”.

Cici has previously said that the injuries she sustained at Arthur’s hands were so bad that she would no longer be able to bear children. The doctor refuted this claim, revealing that Cici would be able to have kids and engage in intercourse now that she had fully healed.
Arthur and his legal team were not able to draft a firm response in time. Instead, they pleaded that the judge postpones the case until August where they will return with a counterargument of their own.
Despite the injuries not being what they were made out to be, Arthur is still not off the hook and could face the might of the law if he is found guilty of assaulting his ex-girlfriend.
