KwaZulu-Natal: At 11:33 Monday morning Netcare 911 responded to a shooting outside a bank on Gopalall Hurbans Road in Tongaat North of Durban.
Reports indicate that a customer had sustained a gunshot wound to his right thigh in an armed robbery. It has not been established at the time of this report how much cash had been taken
The patient had sustained moderate injuries and was treated on scene by Reaction Unit South Africa. Once stabilized the patient was transported to the hospital for further care.
The Tongaat SAPS as well RUSA had secured the scene for investigations to take place.

A 17-year-old is expected to appear in the Ventersdorp Children’s Court on Monday in connection with the alleged murder of Mapula Khune.
Khune, 27, died in a house fire last week. Her body was discovered in a house in Tshing, outside Ventersdorp, in the North West. The deceased was the sister of Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune. Learn More
