ANC releases National General Council documents

The ANC will release its National General Council documents ahead of the NGC meeting next year.

The wide-ranging documents allow delegates to discuss issues affecting the governing party ahead of the crucial meeting.

The struggling economy, high unemployment rate and the poor performance of state-owned enterprises are some of the issues expected to feature strongly in the NGC documents.

The NGC is convened to assess and review the implementation of the party’s policies from the previous conference.

But it cannot change policies or resolutions adopted by the party’s national conference.
