Home Affairs Portfolio Committee chairperson Bongani Bongo has confirmed to eNCA that he will be appearing in court in Mpumalanga on Wednesday.
It follows reports that an arrest warrant has been issued for him and his brother, Sipho.
It’s believed the charges he will face relate to his tenure at the Mpumalanga Provincial government. Bongo is already facing a corruption charge in the Western Cape.
