Ramaphosa: Water provision and fixing roads top of ANC agenda in Limpopo

African National Congress (ANC) president Cyril Ramaphosa said the party is working around the clock to find solutions to service delivery challenges in Limpopo.

This comes after the ANC’s top brass met with some traditional leaders in Limpopo on Saturday, as the party’s national working committee (NWC) kicked off its visit to the province.

The visit by the NWC which helps run the daily decisions of the ANC forms part of the governing party’s renewal agenda.

Ramaphosa said addressing water shortages and under development in parts of Limpopo are top of mind.

“They raised it in a very positive way and they’ve got proposals that they put forwards to us. We did say that we are in the process of prioritizing issues such as water, reticulation as well as roads.”

Ramaphosa admitted that it won’t be an easy feat.

“But we also gave them a reality check because the needs are so enormous that we will be getting on with addressing those issues, and some areas may not be touched at the time that everyone would want, but we are not going to leave any area unturned or unattended to.”
