HHP wished to be an organ donor

It’s been nine months since late hip-hop star HHP took his own life after a lengthy battle with depression and it has emerged that it was apparently one of his wishes to be an organ donor. HHP who was fondly known as Jabba was found dead in his Johannesburg home in October last year.

While the rapper’s untimely death sent shockwaves through the nation, his personal life including a bitter court battle between his customary wife Lerato Sengadi and his father hogged headlines in the days that followed. Now, Sunday World is reporting that it was one of Jabba’s wishes to have his organs harvested either for transplant or medical research.

The tabloid claims that these details were included in Jabba’s will which he apparently signed on 26 March 2010. I place on record my intention to arrange during my lifetime for the donation of my organs for transplant and/or research purpose should I come to die in circumstances in which this would be feasible,” the paper quoted from the document.
The publication went on to quote a part of the document where Jabba declared that his son Leano should inherit everything from his estate.

“I bequeath the residue of my estate to my son Leano-Laone Khanye and should he predecease me, then to descendants by representation.Lerato was apparently “cut off” from HHP’s will.

Last month Lerato shared a heartfelt post about how much she misses Jabba
“A lot has happened in the past nine months. A lot has changed. But what will never change is my love for you and the promises I made. I miss you. I always will,” she said on Instagram.
