Amanda du Pont reacts to Jub Jub getting arrested

Swazi-South African actress, Amanda du Pont is not allowing internet trolls to dampen her spirit after laying charges of rape, attempted murder, and assault against ex-boyfriend Jub Jub.

In fact, the model and presenter is taking a powerful stance.

While Amanda du Pont has not directly addressed Jub Jub’s arrest, she has hinted at her state of mind.

On her Instagram Stories, she shared a picture of what appeared to be a sunset in the Johannesburg skyline. The pic was set to a popular gospel track by the group God’s Property, titled My Life Is In Your Hands. The brunette bombshell also posted a clip of her blowing off steam in the gym by showing off her strong boxing skills.

Amanda also reacted to an Instagram post by gender-based violence organization Women For Change, welcoming Jub Jub’s arrest. The media personality left a fist-pump emoji and a white heart emoji.

According to TimesLive, Jub Jub was released on R10 000 bail after turning himself in on charges of rape, attempted murder, and assault.

The charges – which were made by four women, one of them being Amanda du Pont – pertain to the period between 2006 and 2009.

In court papers leaked last year, Amanda detailed her explosive relationship with the Moja Love presenter, which began in 2006. In it, she claimed that the star had repeatedly raped and abused her. She also claims that the hitmaker attempted to “murder” her in 2008.
