Gauteng: At 22H10 Sunday night Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the N1 direction Pretoria between Malibongwe and William Nicol.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light motor vehicle lost control resulting in a rollover and subsequent fire.
The patient, an adult male who was also the only occupant had sustained serious injuries after being ejected from the car during the rollover.
The man was treated on scene by Netcare 911 Emergency Care Practitioners.
Due to the seriousness of the patients injuries a Netcare 911 helicopter ambulance was activated to airlift him through to a specialist facility.
