Gauteng: At 12H08 Saturday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to a plane crash in Syferfontein in Westonaria on the West Rand.
Reports indicate that a light aircraft had impacted the ground close to a nearby airfield.
The only occupant on board, an adult male, showed no signs of life and was sadly declared deceased on the scene.
Circumstances leading up to the incident are not known, however, all relevant authorities are on scene.
