Former president Jacob Zuma’s affidavit deadline approaches

Former president Jacob Zuma has until the end of the day to say what sanctions he believes he should face if he’s found guilty of contempt of court.
Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng has asked the former president to file an affidavit of no longer than 15 pages to the Constitutional Court by Wednesday.
This after Zuma stood his ground and defied the court’s order to testify before the State Capture Commission. If Zuma files an affidavit with the court, the commission and other parties have until Friday to respond.
