Eskom suspended load-shedding on Wednesday morning as announced on Tuesday. It said generation capacity has sufficiently recovered. The utility implemented load-shedding from 9 pm on Tuesday.
Four of generation units have now returned to service and two more are expected to come online later on Wednesday.

The utility, however, says the system is still vulnerable and unpredictable. It’s urging South Africans to use electricity sparingly.
