Advocate Teffo wants Senzo Meyiwa’s murder trial to resume on 18 May

Senzo Meyiwa’s defence lawyer, Malesela Teffo, wants the trial to be moved forward. In court papers, he says the delay is putting his clients at risk.
Teffo says they have been receiving threats from the police. He also says letters to National Commissioner, Fanie Masemola, have gone unanswered.
The lawyer is also not happy with his arrest in court during the trial. He intends to sue police for the dramatic arrest.
