Purpose of the job: To have an office that will coordinate services provided in the information centre to the community, which include referrals to government departments, civil society and businesses with a primary focus on youth. Assist youth to access employment placement and further educational training opportunities available.

Responsibilities: Assist community members to access the information they need in the information centre and other service providers. Assist with mentoring and supervision of EPWP volunteers as we as assist them in their skills training. Ensure that the information centre is well organised and all the resources needed are provided in consultation with the centre manager.

Assist with managing and coordinating services provided in the information centre which are access to internet, photocopying, binding, laminating etc. Administrative functions: keep records of all people who receive services and ensure signed registers are kept. Assist the centre manager with inputs on the budget, business plans, monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Perform additional tasks within the scope of practice of the program as stated in the mission and the vision of the organisation. Competencies

Planning, organising and stress tolerance
Good communication skills and ability to write reports
Proficient in MS Office, Internet, Email, Outlook and English
Be able to speak an African language/s
Minimum Requirements

Senior Certificate is compulsary and further training will be an advantage. 2 years experiences working in an NGO environment. Valid drivers’ Licence recommended
