Our client in Paarl is looking for a highly organised, meticulous, multi-tasker to fill the role of administrative assistant in their travel office.
The successful candidate must have:

Matric minimum requirement, a tertiary qualification in office administration would be an advantage
5+ years relevant experience – strong administrative background, experience working in a travel office would be an advantage
Highly computer literate – Excel, Word, Internet savvy. Experience working on an ERP system would be an advantage
Good interpersonal and communication skills – both verbal & written
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
Ability to follow instructions, take initiative and deliver quality results
The primary responsibilities for this position include:

Report directly to our on-site travel agent and assist with travel arrangements:
o Car hire

o Hotel and other accommodation bookings

o Flights

o Transfers

o Travel related internet research

o Other ad hoc travel requests

Compile reports detailing travel statistics
Compile and circulate weekly travel schedule
Update and maintain travellers’ profiles
Do requisitions
Credit care reconciliations
Out of town allowance updates

Salary: R10 000 – R12 000.
