Assist in preparation of inputs to monthly stakeholder reporting packs
Assist the Chief Financial Officer with financial accounting responsibilities, which includes but not limited to; booking journals, month ends, reconciliations, stakeholder and management reporting and budgeting
Assist the Chief Financial Officer in maintaining the general ledger accounts as well as group level subsidiaries, joint ventures and charities
Provide support to the Chief Financial Officer in maintaining balance sheet and income statement
Provide support to the Chief Financial Officer in maintaining audit files for the company and related entities
Provide assistance in preparation of the budgeting process
SARS submission on e-filing for the company
Review and sign off payments for the company
Ad hoc projects and tasks as and when required.
REQUIREMENTS:
3 – 5 years experience
Degree/Diploma with Financial Accounting as a major
Must have experience in a similar environment
SAGE X3 knowledge will be advantageous
Experience in preparing inputs to support the audit files
High MS Excel skill level
Be meticulous and accurate
Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
Good decision-making skills
