40 SANDF soldiers at SA-Zim border test positive for Covid-19

About 40 South African National Defence Force members have been infected with COVID-19. The battalion was deployed from Cape Town to Limpopo, to patrol the border with Zimbabwe.

The soldiers were quarantined both before leaving Cape Town and on arrival in Limpopo. Despite this, several members showed symptoms and the entire battalion was tested.
