Just over 11,000 new COVID-19 infections have been recorded. KwaZulu-Natal recorded the most cases with over 2,800.
The Western Cape follows closely behind with 1,228. Gauteng recorded over 2,100 cases.

Nearly 50,000 tests were conducted representing a 22.2 percent positivity rate and 349 more people have been admitted to hospital.
Sadly, 110 more families are in mourning after they lost loved ones to the virus. The total death toll now stands at 91,561.
