Arrest warrant issued for Zimbabwe VP’s ill ex-wife Mary

A warrant of arrest has been issued for the estranged wife of Zimbabwe Vice-President, Constantino Chiwenga.

Mary Mubaiwa-Chiwenga was unable to get to court due to ill-health.

She faces charges of attempting to kill her husband while he was in hospital in South Africa 3 years ago.

Meanwhile, renowned author, Tsitsi Dangarembga, is hoping her own trial will be finalised soon.
