Mohlakeng residents are determined to continue to chase illegal miners from the area.

This is despite assurance from the police that they will take care of the situation.

Residents broke and burnt shacks allegedly belonging to Zama Zamas on Monday.

They say the police have not done enough to protect them from the marauding illegal miners.
