More than 80 zama zamas in court

Over 80 undocumented suspects are appearing in court.

They were arrested in Krugersdorp after the brutal gang rape of women at a mine dump.

So far they’ve only been charged with breaking immigration laws.

But Police Minister Bheki Cele says the alleged rapists have been identified.

Political parties have come in support of the victims.

ANC NEC member Nomvula Mokonyane spoke to eNCA and blames mining houses for crime in the area.
