Bheki Cele denies government losing battle against Zama Zamas

More than 4,000 illegal miners have been arrested in the past year across the country, that’s according to Police Minister Bheki Cele.

Cele says police are ramping up efforts to deal with illegal mining across the country.

He says the government is not losing the battle against criminal activities related to zama zamas.

Cele was in a panel discussion on Power To Truth with JJ Tabane.
