Police say fridge victim not yet identified

Gauteng police say they are yet to identify the victim whose body parts were found in a fridge in Protea Glen Soweto.

This after the gruesome discovery was made by the suspect’s partner on Saturday.

A 26-year-old man has been taken into custody.

The suspect attempted to take his own life when apprehended.

A close friend has told eNCA that the suspect made a confession to him about who the body parts belong to.

But police say they are yet to identify the remains.
