More than 860 000 matrics to write exams – says Motshekga

Over 860,000 matriculants will sit for the 2021 exams, according to Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga.

Matric exams will start on 27 October.

Motshekga has expressed her well wishes for all matriculants as well as urged parents and communities to support them during this stressful time.

The Minister also paid tribute to all teachers for their hard work.
